2020 IDTO is an online conference dedicated to Inclusive Design Toronto, exploring the profound impact of design on inclusivity and encouraging individuals to embed inclusion into decision-making across Live, Work, and Design. By recognizing and embracing the full spectrum of human diversity, IDTO advocates for a more equitable and inclusive society.
Drawing a parallel between human individuality and vibrant gradients emerging from a neutral gray backdrop, IDTO frames inclusion as both a visual and conceptual language. This contrast underscores the beauty of difference while highlighting the importance of collaboration and the convergence of perspectives in shaping new design frontiers.
The visual system integrates Braille with icons representing Live, Work, and Design, symbolizing diverse ways of perceiving, interpreting, and engaging with the world. Together, these elements reflect the multiplicity of viewpoints that inform inclusive design and reinforce IDTO’s commitment to accessibility, representation, and collective progress.
