Eyesbrain Design (EBD) is a design studio founded on the belief that creativity emerges through recombination rather than invention. Design is understood as a continuous process of observing, thinking, learning, and playing—where meaning is constructed through experience rather than predefined outcomes.
The identity is built around the concept of “Process and the Unexpectable.” The name Eyesbrain, derived from the biological term Ophthalmencephalon, reflects the relationship between perception and cognition—mirroring the studio’s approach to design as an active dialogue between seeing and thinking.
The visual system balances clarity with playfulness. A compact lowercase wordmark combined with a brain-inspired form creates a flexible and memorable logo. Phonetically, Eyesbrain echoes the sound of ice cream—introducing an unexpected sense of lightness into an otherwise rational system. A name that feels playful, paired with a logo that resembles a brain, reinforces the studio’s belief that serious thinking and joyful experimentation are not opposites, but partners. The broader identity functions as an open canvas, where negative space is intentionally preserved—not as emptiness, but as potential—allowing unexpected ideas to emerge.
