This is a typography experiment about “Meaning in the context”. I chose the word “Encroachment” and researching to find the different means and build the visual context. The whole experiment process was exploring how the letterform, texture, and graphics affect the visual context and translate to more precise meaning expression. Both the final poster result or letterform making gave me an understanding far beyond the definition given in the dictionary.
Each poster is like an experiment section, they have a specific environment, even the word is the same, but they grow up to different meanings, telling the story of their role and definition.
